Extreme Engineering was commissioned by both Sally Dark Rides, a leading developer of dark ride attractions, and Daniels Wood Land, a renowned theming fabricator, to engineer and construct a motion floor system for the acclaimed attraction, Treasure Hunt: The Ride. This motion floor was integrated into the pre-show experience of the dark ride, guiding guests through a themed mine shaft. Engineered by Extreme Engineering, the floor was designed to vibrate and subtly move, complemented by a concealed screen that revealed a beautiful show set with animatronics. As guests entered the pre-show area, they experienced the sensation of descending deep below the city streets into a forgotten cave, unveiling a fabled pirate treasure. The motion floor was also designed to accommodate large groups, aiding in the management of queuing guests for boarding the dark ride vehicles. The success of Treasure Hunt: The Ride was recognized with a Brass Ring award at the IAAPA Expo in 2023.
