Case Study:
Trampoline center Rockin Jump craved taking their customer’s adventures to new heights. They had a desire to offer a unique, interactive experience that connected customers to their current brand while maximizing limited, usable vertical space at their flagship location in Dublin, California. A small Cloud Coaster with a mighty punch was invented to fit the tight constraints of the Rockin Jump facility. Compact, budget friendly and efficient, this Cloud Coaster was designed to pack in the stellar features found in our full length track, giving riders the full ride experience in a fun size version.
This project was one of our earlier version coasters, utilizing our original soft seat system. The client opted into the soft seat, due to the fun “swinging” motion. Rockin Jump loved the look and feel of the soft seat, purposely creating motion in the ride while compliment the other high action activities from trampoline jumping to rock climbing (we provided the climbing wall too).
Rockin Jump placed full confidence in our engineering capabilities in the design, P.E. stamping, manufacturing and approval of the roller coaster. Our team successfully obtained approval through California’s strict ride requirements and inspection (Cal/OHSA). Our engineering team worked closely with local and state agencies to commission the ride in a timely manner, as well as exceed earthquake approvals and stairwell requirements for the raised platform. We are proud to say our coaster is the only kind approved in the state of California.
To date, this Rockin Jump location is one of the most popular destinations in the world. The Cloud Coaster has become the main anchor product to their guests. This version is generation 2 of the Cloud Coaster, utilizing an upgraded track, trolley and lift hill system.
