Sacramento, CA (February 20th, 2015) – The world’s largest supplier in patented zip lines, climbing walls and adventure products for the amusement and resort industries, Extreme Engineering, has shut down in California and completed the transfer of all assets and patents to Poseidon Productions, a state of the art expansive factory in Athens, Texas, to accommodate their rapidly growing client base. The completion of the closure and transfer took place in January of 2015.

Along with this exciting transition, Poseidon Productions, DBA Extreme Engineering, has acquired all licensing, patents and trademarks from High Velocity Designs, LLC. Poseidon Productions, DBA Extreme Engineering is three times the size of the previous company’s production facility.

This transition allowed Poseidon Productions to apply their advanced linear manufacturing process as well as superior quality control for the award winning product line. The factory will be designed to support the Major Thrill Ride Division, and will offer state of the art equipment, such as computer driven plasma cutters, high-end welding machines, a sophisticated parts warehouse, and steel cutting tools. Poseidon’s factory will also contain a dedicated assembly room for the Auto-Belay™ product as well as six acres of outside storage.

Poseidon Productions, DBA Extreme Engineering manufactures world renowned, award winning products such as the Fly Wire™ Zip Line for entertainment enthusiasts on an international level, and will use this exciting transition to continue its expansion and customer offerings.

Jeff Wilson, CEO of Extreme Engineering states, “We pride ourselves on the safety and dependability of our products and feel this move and new transition adds an extra layer of efficiency on top of the current stellar production process. We look forward to creating the safest and highest award winning products in our industry from the new facility in Texas.”
